Our Roots

Bonded over vinyl cuts from 1984 to 1996

What started as late-night living room jams around a single condenser mic quickly evolved into a dedicated five-piece collective. We shared a common frustration with backing tracks and click-track rigidity, preferring instead the natural push-and-pull of a wooden stage.

Drawing from deep wells of bluegrass, folk, and classic rock rhythm traditions, the band set out to rebuild familiar radio anthems using only organic instruments and raw vocal blend.

The Five Pieces

Meet the collective

Every arrangement relies entirely on the interplay between five distinct acoustic voices.

Dual Front Vocals & Guitars

Dobro & Electric Bass

Cajon Backbeat

Combining slide resonator resonance with a warm, foundational low end to drive the groove.

Providing an organic, unamplified percussion rhythm that keeps the dance floor moving without digital backing.

Delivering crisp twin harmonies and rhythm acoustic drive that anchor every song.

/ Arrangement Philosophy

Honoring melodic hooks while rethinking the backbeat

We treat familiar radio classics not as sacred relics to be strictly copied, but as familiar blueprints for acoustic exploration. By swapping synthesizers for dobro slides and heavy drum kits for a responsive cajon backbeat, familiar songs reveal entirely new textures.

Our audiences hear every breath, every string bend, and every vocal blend straight off the microphone. There are no pre-recorded stems or hidden tracks—just five musicians listening closely to one another and to the room.
